Technical Program Manager – Robotics Hardware l $70,000 – $100,000
A global robotics company is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the delivery of advanced robotics hardware platforms used in large-scale automated environments.
Working at the intersection of mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems, this role will coordinate cross-functional engineering teams to bring complex robotics products from early concept through validation and into full production. The systems you will help deliver support next-generation automated operations and combine mobility, mechatronics, and intelligent control.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys managing technically complex programs while ensuring products are reliable, scalable, and ready for real-world deployment.
What you’ll be responsible for:
• Driving end-to-end delivery of hardware robotics programs from concept through production
• Aligning multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, embedded, and software engineering
• Managing program planning, timelines, risks, and dependencies
• Coordinating hardware builds, testing phases, and production readiness
• Supporting design-for-manufacture and design-for-assembly activities with internal teams and external partners
• Tracking delivery metrics across cost, quality, safety, and schedule
• Ensuring smooth coordination between engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams
What we’re looking for:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or similar technical discipline
• Around 5+ years in hardware product development within robotics, industrial automation, automotive, or electromechanical systems
• 3+ years managing complex technical programs in engineering environments
• Understanding of motion-based systems (drive modules, lifting mechanisms, or mobile platforms)
• Familiarity with embedded or electrical systems such as motor drives, sensors, controllers, or industrial communications
• Experience coordinating manufacturing partners and supporting production ramp-up
• Strong cross-team collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Professional English communication skills
Nice to have:
• Experience with automated logistics systems, mobile robots, or industrial automation equipment
• Exposure to mechanical motion design, embedded systems, or industrial control systems
• Experience working in fast-moving or scaling technology companies
• Familiarity with industrial safety or regulatory standards
• Japanese language capability is advantageous
What’s on offer:
• Competitive compensation package
• Opportunity to work on advanced robotics systems used in real-world industrial environments
• International engineering culture with strong collaboration across teams
• Long-term career growth within a rapidly evolving technology sector
• Visa support for international candidates
